Scholarships and awards<\/p>\n
Methodist Pilley Institute shares financial burden with the students with financial difficulties. During this pandemic, the decrease in family income has caused many families facing financial burdens. Principal Hii King Kai emphasized that Pilley Institute is a non-profit higher learning private institution and hopes that the scholarship offered by MPI can alleviate the worries and burdens of parents and students during this difficult period, so that students can continue and complete their studies of diplomas and university degrees without financial difficulties.<\/p>\n
In January 2021, a total of 132 students have successfully received the scholarship awards, with which they can enjoy a 10% to 70% discount on their tuition fees. Among them, 8 students enjoy 100% discount on their tuition fees. \u00a0Ms Tracy, one of the 100% scholarship recipients expressed her gratitude to MPI because the scholarship enabled her to realize her dream of pursuing tertiary education. Ms Tracy is currently in the final semester of UCSI University’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Accounting programme and soon she will graduate. \u00a0Her ambition is to become a Chartered Accountant. This is because she has many relatives who have developed their careers successfully in the accounting field, which inspired her to choose the accountancy as her profession.<\/p>\n
