Praise to the Lord for His amazing leading, the support from the Miri District Superintendent as well as the BM Executive Commission, we have another new BM ministry at Taman Tunku Miri with its first worship service on 25 March 2018.

This BM ministry had its root with the BM youth leaders training programme, whereby the participants went out on Fridays to do home visitation and gospel sharing. Later, a team was formed to initiate the BM ministry in this area. The members included James Wong, Rev Nicholas Ting, Pastor Susanty Kedal, Pastor Roselind Rosy, Pastor Arin Manja and so on.

In March and April, the Sunday Worship was conducted alternately by four churches, namely Mei Ann MC, Gan En MC, Gereja Methodist Tudan and Permyjaya MC. Not only did the pastor from the assigned church came to conduct the Worship, a few of the church members would come along to serve as the liturgist, praise and worship team and ushers.

In order to serve this BM congregation better, starting from May, Pastor Arin Manja, a lay preacher from Gereja Methodist Tudan, was appointed to be fully in-charge of Taman Tunku BM Ministry where its Sunday Worship was held at Taman Tunku Methodist Church,

We give thanks to the Lord for leading this BM ministry at Taman Tunku which has been running smoothly to date. Currently we have family small groups, Sunday School, and home visitation on Wednesday night. There are around 15 regular members and 10 children attending the Sunday Worship. We pray that the people in and around Taman Tunku will seek the Lord voluntarily and that the congregation will grow to maturity with time.
