The 11th general session of the Methodist Women of Malaysia was successfully held at Kingwood Hotel, Sibu from 12-14 August 2016. The Quadrennial meeting was attended by the Bishop of Malaysia, Rev. Dr. Ong Hwai Teik, the President of Methodist Women, Malaysia, Dato Ir. Alice Jawan, 42 official delegates from 6 Annual Conferences (Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference, Sarawak Iban Annual Conference, Sabah Provisional Annual Conference, Tamil Annual Conference, Trinity Annual Conference, and Chinese Annual Conference, West Malaysia), 30 observers and many invited guests. Various reports were received and numerous projects and activities were deliberated and prayers and special spiritual sessions were conducted.

A thanksgiving and welcoming dinner with entertainment programmes hosted by Mr. and Mrs Wong Shie Kee was well attended and the organizing Chairperson Sister Wong Hie Ching took the opportunity to thank all for making the entire proceeding a great success.
