JAN – CHURCH
Pray for visible unity in the Body of Christ. Pray that Christians will live out authentic holy lives that manifest Jesus’ love and compassion, being salt and light in this world. Pray for Christian leaders to be godly, humble and loving towards one another.

FEB – SOCIAL JUSTICE and the POOR
Pray for “justice to flow like a river” for the least, the last, the lost and the little. Pray for Christians to reach out in love to the marginalised, the vulnerable, the forgotten and neglected in society. Pray that the disabled and ageing are cared for.

MAR – WOMEN and GIRLS
Pray that girls and women will be educated, nurtured, protected, and provided with equal rights and opportunities so that they can fully contribute economically, socially and spiritually. Pray for laws protecting young girls be put in place to protect them from being trafficked or abused.

APR – GOVERNMENT
Pray for a new spirit of forgiveness, goodness and excellence. Pray for rulers, cabinet ministers and civil servants to be men and women of integrity, justice, courage, and compassion. Pray for the Judiciary and the security forces to uphold righteousness and justice.

MAY – MEDIA and PRESS FREEDOM
Pray for media practitioners to be ethical, responsible, balanced and objective given their power in shaping the thoughts of society, and being a voice to the voiceless. Pray for media freedom to be nurtured, and practitioners be bold when speaking truth to power.

JUN – MIGRANTS and REFUGEES
Pray for those who have escaped oppression, poverty, persecution, violence, and war to live in Malaysia. Pray that we may embrace all migrants and refugees as family, and be accorded the same rights to education, healthcare and security. Pray for protection against trafficking.

JUL – NATIONAL UNITY and RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Pray for all peoples to work together in love and humility to bring peace and unity to the nation. Pray for grace in the face of persecution to respond and persevere with love. Pray for the freedom of religion for all and be allowed to manage our own religious affairs as guaranteed by the Constitution.

AUG – YOUTH
Pray for the young people to grow in grace, wisdom and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus, walking in spirit and truth, and in love for His Word. Pray for our youth to be imbued with Gospel values and always making godly choices.

SEP – INDIGENOUS
Pray for our indigenous peoples—the Orang Asli in Semenanjung, the Orang Asal from Sabah and Sarawak. Pray that many may be lifted up from poverty, their land rights restored, and be empowered to play a productive and leadership role in the affairs of the nation. Pray for the indigenous church to be strong and courageous.

OCT – EDUCATION
Pray for all children and youth, including stateless and refugees, to have access to education. Pray for improvement of the nation’s education system. Pray for adults to also enjoy lifelong learning. Pray for mission schools to be treated fairly and justly. Pray for rural teachers serving in remote areas.

NOV – CHILDREN
Pray for the protection of children—including stateless and refugees—through improved laws, policies and practices so that they can grow in a safe, secure, healthy and loving environment. Pray for children with special needs so that they are well cared for.

DEC – PEACE
Pray that we will be committed ambassadors of reconciliation, reaching out boldly to the lost and the needy. Pray for peace in our hearts, homes, communities nation and the world: a peace that the world cannot give, true peace that comes from the Prince of Peace.
