THE POWER OF PRAYER IN MY SCHOOL

with No Comments

IN August this year, our school organized a cooking class for my class. When we could not open the bottle of our spaghetti sauce, I took the bottle to the Principal.

I asked if she could help to open the lid of the spaghetti sauce bottle as my teacher and classmates had not been able to do so. Our Principal took the bottle and tried to open it.

Our Principal said as it was too tight, we should ask our Lord Jesus to help us before trying again.

This is my little testimony as a Sunday School student. I believe God has done many things for me in my life. But this little prayer in school is a very strong evidence in my walk with God. It was just a small prayer, but it has led me down my path of praying to God, asking him for help and in fact before I do a task. I like my friends to know about my prayers and how God is there for me.

We said a short prayer with a loud AMEN. And indeed, when we tried, the lid opened easily and I happily took the bottle back to the class to prepare the spaghetti dish. All the children were so happy they could continue their cooking class. We were looking forward to having spaghetti for our tea break.

I was amazed how fast God could answer a simple prayer and from little children who need help like opening a bottle. Yes our God is caring, and he will listen to a simple prayer before we do anything. He makes everything so easy for us. I thank God for what He has done in my school.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
