1st week:
Pray for Believers in church
1. Ask God to help believers to establish a deep relationship with God, becoming a devout prayer, and longing to read God’s Word every day, so that their lives receive God’s Word for daily needs, having a healthy and normal growth.
2. Ask God to help believers be completely humble and thirsty for holiness. They become people after God’s own heart, living and witnessing in holiness at schools, or workplaces, in their families and communities.
3. Ask God to use more Christians in various fields (such as education, business, media, politics, etc.) to exert influence, rather than compromising sins.
4. Ask God to lead the church be always alert, not sleeping, not complacent in self-righteousness, can always become a national warden, standing in the gap to pray for the country.
5. If the church herself is not holy, the church loses the spiritual authority to condemn the evil in the country. Ask God to help the church be more holy, use more of spiritual authority to condemn the evil in the country.
2nd week:
Pray for Sarawak DUN Election No.11 Year 2016
1. Ask God to have mercy on Malaysia and heal the damage brought by conflicts between the Sarawakian political parties, and remove the breaking wall between the political enemies. Pray that the Lord takes control of the 2016 Sarawak election, picking up people after God’s own heart to bring about Sarawak effectiveness.
2. Pray for electoral activities, that God takes away substandard violence, bribery and other unfavorable things, so that there is a clean election Sarawak.
3. We declare in the name of the Lord Jesus: Lord God Jehovah will rule the 2016 Sarawak election, government officials to seek unity in developing Sarawak; all principality and power will be called by God to become people of the kingdom of God, Amen.
4. Pray for Sarawak election rallies, that God’s mighty intervention would arrest conflicts and bloodshed.
5. Ask God for granting wisdom to the voters, that those being straight, honest, righteous man of God would become public officials, so that the people can be blessed.
6. Pray that God would stretch out hands and stop all people of corruptions and bribery. Pray that money politics is rejected, and unclean election work is stopped.
7. Pray that the Sarawak people would not be cheated, nor be bribed, because greed is the root of all evil, only righteousness would bring glory to any nation.
8. Pray for new Sarawak government to be elected that they, with wisdom and righteousness, will be able to continue to gear Sarawak towards a cleaner, more efficient, more autonomous and self-reliant state. Sarawak, amidst the Malaysian dark political chaos, would shine like a beacon!
3rd week:
Pray for Judiciary
1. That there is clear and proper distinction between the jurisdiction of the Civil Court and Syariah Court.
2. That the judges will uphold the rights of every citizen enshrined in the Federal Constitution irrespective of race and creed or standing in society.
3. That the Civil Courts will not abdicate their jurisdiction involving legal avenues of justice available to non-Muslims.
4. That the judges will be God-fearing and realize that they have to account to the Judge of judges for each decision they made.
5. That the judges will deliver their verdict on cases concerning apostasy and custody in accordance with the law and evidence presented before them without fear or favour and irrespective of whether the decision is popular or not.
4th week:
Pray for Nation Leaders
1. Pray for the Salvation of our Nation Leaders (Cabinet members, Member of Parliaments, State Council Members and Senior Civil Servants ) and to be God-fearing, upholding their faith values, and lead by examples.
2. Pray that our Nation Leaders will have the divine wisdom to stipulate good laws and policies that are fair and just to all races and religious groups. In addition, they will have the courage and perseverance to ensure effective implementation of policies.
3. Pray for our Nation Leaders to have the determination to see a Clean and Just Government at all levels of the Government System.
4. Pray that all Government Agencies; the Attorney-General Office, the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission, the Police, the Judiciary will display high integrity and transparency in carrying out their responsibilities and tasks entrusted to them.
