24-7 Prayer Malaysia is a chapter of 24-7 Prayer International, an international and interdenominational movement of prayer, mission and justice.

Our ministry in Malaysia began as a small prayer initiative of the Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM) Youth Network called Press Play. Press Pray.

In late 2009 after a call to “Put Justice at the Heart of Faith”, CCM Youth felt the strong need to soak this work in prayer, so that we know what is in God’s heart for us to speak to the nation. A key gap in the Malaysian prayer space was identified: a clear lack of guidance for informed prayer. Even as more and more young people asked, “How then do we pray for such and such a situation?” we realised that we needed to bring about helping young people to know what were the issues and how to pray over them and 24-7 Prayer Malaysia was birthed.

24-7 Prayer Malaysia now has 3 prayer rooms called Boiler Rooms, which serve as places of prayer and reflection in Petaling Jaya, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. These rooms can be booked to use for free by Christians of any denominations. Prayer is encouraged to be as creative as possible and our prayer rooms allow for that.

We also send out weekly newsletters in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese to allow for guided prayer which can be used during prayer meetings. By doing so, we hope to inspire prayer for the nation.

For us, our vision is Jesus. Our longing is to raise disciples sold out for Jesus, whose one desire is to know God, to model after Him, and ready to fulfil the Great Commission. For more information:
