During Rev Su Chii Ann’s Retirement Ceremony, Rev Tie King Tai expressed his heartfelt gratitude as well as enlightenment from what he had learned from Rev Su.
He is grateful to Rev Su for completely letting go after stepping down as president yet he was willingly to offer assistance whenever required.
He is thankful and impressed as Rev Su is rigorous in biblical exegesis. He is proficient in interpreting God’s words in a systematic way. Rev Su also shows full dedication in his work and is gifted in administration.
Although Rev Su has matured with age, he nonetheless keeps fit. Rev Tie also finds it touching as Rev Su and his wife are of the same mind as ever; with a supportive family, they walk hand in hand and side by side.
Lastly, Rev Tie presented Rev Su with two quotes of the Bible:
1. “Now then, just as the LORD promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.” (Joshua 14:10-11)
2. “The elder, to my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.” (3John 1-3)
